The firm was founded and is managed by Elizabeth McEvilly who is a member of, and regulated by, the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CIlex). Elizabeth has over 25 years experience specialising in Private Client law and has built a reputation over those years as a highly professional legal practitioner, who provides straight forward advice you can trust often at a very emotional time. Elizabeth is caring and compassionate, and with a wealth of experience is the trusted provider for her clients and their families. You will want to know how much our advice is going to cost, so from the start, we will provide information about our fees. From the outset of your matter you will be advised verbally and in writing of our fees so there are no hidden surprises. If your instruction should change, or anything arises that may effect costs, we will discuss this with you and you will be advised of any change to our fee and given the opportunity to consider before we proceed. All invoices will be clear and easy to understand.

Friends Against Scams is a National Trading Standards Scams Team initiative which aims to protect and prevent people from becoming victims of scams by empowering people to take a stand against scams.

Friends Against Scams is designed to inspire action, highlight the scale of the problem, change the perceptions of why people fall for scams and make scams a community, regional and national topic.

Our firm is a Friends Against Scams Champion and we actively promote the initiative by holding free awareness sessions to recruit Friends and drive Friends Against Scams forward in our community. If you would like more information or to be involved, please get in touch.
